I find blocks on Yahoo delivered ads regularly. It is a little heavy on the client, but stops everything so far.

I love this software just for that reason.

So when my users update their Java, the Ask toolbar does not get installed, for example, nor Yahoo, Mywebsearch, Amazon Search or any others. We use the endpoint protections which allows me to block the installation of toolbars and remote control software. Sophos was installed when I came on board and I am a converted fan. (Not that big an issue anymore) Fried my software VPN though. Used Panda on personal machine for 3 years as it was different and European meaning they had 8 hours on detecting infections and updates over USA. But we did get a few infections of the "Driveby Malware" from Flash vulnerabilities. Really liked Vipre in job before this one as it was lightweight and really worked. I have a suggestion and that is to look a little beyond the AV aspects, and look at the consoles of the products so you know what they can and cannot do, and how easily for you.Īll AV will work and block what it can and occasionally something will get through. Do you guys have any recommendations as to what's better than Kaspersky ? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated !! My renewal is coming up in February and I think im going to dump this software and look for something that functions better.

The only way to revive the pc is to reboot it and everything is fine, up until the next slowdown. I go to check the task manager but everything seems fine, no excessive RAM usage or excessive processor load. I cant open web browsers, files take a long time opening and when trying to run TCPView to see if what my ports are doing, I get nothing !ĭoes anyone out there use this new version and if so are you guys experience random slowdowns of your computers ? When I mean slow I mean my PC crawls and I have 16GB of DDR3 RAM and the 3rd Gen I7. For the most part I can deal with the small database update errors and such but what I really killing me is how its slowing down my computers !! Funny thing is I don't know what the heck is causing this nor does Kaspersky.
Let me tell you, this thing is a pain in the butt !! I have random errors when updating and have to constantly watch the security center to make sure things are running right. I would hate to have a worm/Trojan propagate my network and bring business to a crawl.Īs it stands, I currently have the latest version of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business Advanced, which has the Security Center Version 10.1.249 and the Endpoint Version 10.2.1.23. I manage a network with over 150 users in a very dynamic, web oriented environment so endpoint security is a big deal.
